History
Union Hill Cemetery sits in East Haddam, a Connecticut River town better known to visitors for Goodspeed Opera House, Gillette Castle, and river trade history. Like other “Union” or parish burying grounds in New England, Union Hill holds generations of local families—slate and marble stones marking farmers, mariners’ kin, and church members. It is a working historic landscape, not a commercial haunted attraction.
Local ghost lore
Union Hill does not carry a single nationally marketed spectre (do not confuse it with Union Cemetery in Easton, home of the Warren-promoted White Lady).
