Private Residence — Newtown Investigation

Newtown, CT · 2002-02-24

Private client case — Newtown, Connecticut. Address withheld. Video evidence only.

Case context

The client, a middle-aged woman who reported experimenting with occult practices, described haunting phenomena including glowing balls emerging from a closet at night. Ghosthound investigators aimed a Sony night-shot camcorder at the closet. Selected clips were assembled and slowed to 10% of original speed for review.

This is a private-residence investigation, not a cemetery case. Newtown’s public historic yard—Zoar Cemetery—has its own case file for outdoor stills.

Evidence (video only)

No still photographs are attached to this case. Any cemetery image formerly used as a featured thumbnail was removed.

Production: Newtown Investigation.

Ethics

  • No street address or client identifiers.
  • Slowed footage is for inspection, not proof by itself.
  • Indoor “globules” in night-shot video have many mundane sources (dust, insects, moisture, sensor noise).

Summary findings

Private Newtown residence: night-shot closet/globule video only. No photos. Zoar Cemetery stills are a separate case.
